Dr. Mitchell Zeren was born at Bronx Lebanon Hospital and grew up as a local Bronx resident before his family moved to Long Island. He attended the State University at Albany before transferring to New York Chiropractic College in 1982, graduating in 1985, and is privileged to have trained under some of the best chiropractors and medical physicians in the country.

Dr. Zeren began his Bronx family practice in 1986. Watching the borough change, he became troubled by the ever-growing changes in the healthcare system and how they were affecting the doctor-patient relationship. In 1989 he began a multispecialty practice with the addition of physical medicine and physical therapy, and shortly thereafter other physicians joined him, including orthopedists and neurologists. The group focuses on the evaluation and treatment of injuries, including alternative, non-surgical and surgical treatment options.

Dr. Zeren, DC, is the owner of Concourse Chiropractic and has an extensive chiropractic background, having practiced in the Bronx for nearly four decades. That overall knowledge and experience allows him to evaluate all spinal and extremity conditions and injuries, and he is fortunate to know many board certified medical specialists for additional referrals as needed. After a thorough consultation and evaluation of your injuries, Dr. Zeren determines what diagnostic tests, if any, are necessary and which specialists might be needed for further evaluation.

He is committed to the hard work and dedication it takes to become an expert on soft tissue injuries sustained in motor vehicle and work accidents, as well as sports injuries. Dr. Zeren is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and has obtained Advanced Certification after postgraduate work in radiology, including diagnostic imaging and sports injury, along with advanced certification in Competency in Whiplash, Traumatology, and Motor Vehicle Crash Forensics.

Combining extensive skills as a chiropractor with his specialized education and his devotion to patients, he has brought together a comprehensive medical facility specializing in the evaluation and treatment of automobile and work injuries. Dr. Dassa has delivered orthopedic surgical care throughout the Bronx and the five boroughs since 1998, completing his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center and a hand surgery fellowship at NYU Medical Center. Board certified in orthopedic surgery, he specializes in fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, and hand and wrist reconstruction, and serves as a physician for USA Boxing.

Dr. Hausknecht is double board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Academy of Pain Management. He earned his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and trained in neurology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, focusing on pain management, rehabilitation medicine, and electrodiagnostic testing.

Dr. Canty is a double board certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist with over twenty years of experience in interventional pain, regenerative, and mental health treatments. He trained at Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Harvard Medical School) and has been repeatedly named a New York Super Doctor.

Dr. Austero completed his doctorate at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and his residency at Hoboken University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident and completed over 1,300 procedures. Board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, he offers both surgical and non-surgical treatment for foot and ankle injuries.

Dr. Maselli earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College and his B.S. in Biology from Saint Thomas Aquinas College. A former competitive wrestler, he specializes in sports chiropractic and has helped patients recover from work, auto, and sports-related injuries.

Zach grew up in Westchester, New York and studied international business and marketing at the University of Delaware. Drawn to healthcare by a fascination with how the body works and a desire to help people living in pain, he has spent the past 20 years in chiropractic care. As COO he oversees operations across every Zeren Health location, managing the practice's relationships with its doctors and with the attorneys who refer patients, and keeping every step between intake and treatment moving so patients are seen properly, seen on time, and treated without delay.
